Rio de Janeiro is a truly world-class city filled with a huge number of historic and cultural treasures. When a visitor comes to Rio de Janeiro, there are many sites to see from the famed statue of Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado to Copacabana Beach.
The Darvaza gas crater is one of the most fascinating sites in all of Central Asia. Despite its remote location in the Karakum Desert of Turkmenistan, it definitely worth visiting, and spending the night near a fire that has been burning for almost 50 years is an unforgettable experience.
Even though Slovenia is a small Central European country, there are many different and unique sites to see, but there are also many beautiful towns to visit. Piran is a Slovenian city located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea that should not be missed by any visitor.
Lake Bled has long been on my bucket list. No visit to Slovenia is complete without visiting it. Even though Lake Bled is certainly impressive, there is also Predjama Castle and Postojna Cave nearby for a visitor to check out.
